Sharon Nicholson
1957-2025

Sharon was cycling on the Blue Ridge Parkway when she was struck from behind by a car. We don’t have all the details, but it’s a terrible tragedy. Sharon was a true trailblazer. She was racing triathlons when they were still in their early days and was a huge advocate for our local cycling community. She was always so passionate about fitness and loved inspiring others. She coached cross country and track at Landstown High School and was a long-time physical education teacher.
Sharon’s presence, passion, and impact will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed.
We are sending our deepest condolences to Sharon’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
